At the edge, remote devices are equipped with ATSHA encryption chips, secure boot mechanisms, and anti-tampering protections to prevent unauthorized access. Gateways add another layer of defence with TPM 2.0 hardware encryption, VPNs with digital certificates, and the absence of exposed LAN ports, ensuring communications remain fully protected. In the cloud, security continues with end-to-end encryption both in transit and at rest, Kubernetes secrets for credential management, workload isolation, and continuous vulnerability scanning. This multilayered approach makes iLCS one of the most secure IoT platforms available today.
